January: Program: Family Treasures - Bring family items to share that are special to you and make your ancestors more personal
February: Program: Cheryl Maddox & Lyn Sanguinetti. - Cheryl and Lyn will talk about their recent research trip to Italy, and will discuss the Italian immigration.
March : Program: Linda Johnson, - an archivist with the California State Library will be talking about their collections, especially as they relate to genealogy.
April: Program: Pat Perry - Sonora’s Jewish families. In the afternoon (12:30pm) we will have a tour of the Jewish cemetery on Yaney Avenue, meet at the Cemetery. At 2:00pm the program will discuss the various families and the Jews in Sonora.
May: Program: Society Annual Meeting Introduction of Officers. Pot Luck at 12:30pm preceding the program at 2:00pm.
Starting in June programs are at 7:00pm.
June: Program: Kate Baum - German immigrant patterns, including Slovenia and Alsace Lorraine.
July: Program: Dr. Bob La Perriere - Immigrants to California gold rush were subject to numerous diseases at a time when doctors were unable to provide specific treatment, and many were not really doctors. Learn all about Gold Rush Medicine.
August: Program: Kathryn Marshall - Immigration and Naturalization. Kathryn is with the Lodi LDS Family History Center.
September: Program: Joan Rutty - Tuolumne County Library resources. Joan will tell us about the library collections that no one else knows.
October: Program: Yenyen Chan - an Interpretive Ranger at Yosemite National Park will discuss her research on the Chinese in Yosemite, Chinese Camp and other Gold Rush towns.
October 30th: BEGINNERS WORKSHOP
Starting in November programs are at 2:00pm.
November: Program: Kathy Burrow - Southern Research. Kathy is a genealogical lecturer with emphasis on Southern Records. Kathy is coming from Oakhurst.
December: No program - Annual Christmas Brunch December 18th at Fair Grounds.
